Awards’ winners selection goes through series of stages.

• • 1. Public Nomination.
  • 2. Nominees are contacted to submit further documents.
  • 3. Committee vets received documents.
  • 4. Onsite/Phone interviews
  • 5. Nominees shortlisted to 10 or less per category
  • 6. Public Voting
  • 7. Committee works on award winners
  • 8. Awards ceremony. All shortlisted nominees are mandated to attend the Awards ceremony.

• The Committee

  The management team of this award comprises three major Committees. These committees oversees the various scheduled functions and processes of the awards.

  The Submission Committee

  This Committee, comprising distinguished individuals from industry and public office, have the responsibility of calling for nominations from eligible individuals and the general public to nominate candidates they consider deserve a given award. They will receive, compile and examine these nominations, as per evidence submitted, after which they will pass on per their recommendations to another independent committee, The Research Committee.

  The Research Committee

  The Research Committee, comprising representatives from Management, and neutral consultants or professionals in the media space have the mandate to research into the backgrounds of the nominees, as per their profiles and credentials submitted by them or the public. Having being satisfied with the facts as presented and/or as they find it, the Research Committee will file their findings or reports to the next committee – The Awards-giving Committee.

  The Awards-Giving Committee

  Comprising representatives from Media stakeholders and professionals, The Awards Giving Committee is responsible for scrutinizing all submissions and recommendations from the other committees to ensure that the process does not unduly favor or disfavor anybody. This Committee also make final decisions, and select deserving winners for each category of awards based on all votes.
